Prayers for the Deconstruction Journey
Hello readers!
I have created a few downloadable PDF file of some short prayers I wrote for those Deconstructing their old, toxic, faith, and who are hoping to build a faith built on justice and liberation. For some who deconstruct, prayer no longer feels relevant or necessary, and that’s ok. That is a valid response. But others may still want to pray but the language they are used to using may feel too oppressive or narrow. They want to pray but they aren’t sure how to go about it. The prayers of their childhood may no longer be helpful or their understanding of prayer may have radically changed. I created this resource, to aid those who may want to pray and who still find prayer to be relevant to their faith journey, but who aren’t yet sure they have the words to pray.
